Human Resources

The Camp Atterbury Department of Human Resources (DHR) serves the Department of Defense's most valuable asset: its personnel. DHR provides high quality, customer-driven human resources services to support the deployment and redeployment of DoD Civilians and Government Contractors deploying CONUS and OCONUS in support of Overseas Contingency Operations.

Inspector General

The Inspector General (IG) is an extension of the Installation Commander's eyes, ears, voice, and conscience. The IG serves as the Personnel Staff Office and trusted agent for the command as well as an honest broker for inspections, assistance and inquires/investigations in support of current, former, and retired Soldiers, civilians, family members, and civilians working for the Department of the Army within the Camp Atterbury community.

The self-described mission of the Inspector General is "to inquire into and periodically report on the discipline, efficiency, economy, welfare of Soldiers, morale, training and readiness throughout the Army". For more information visit Internal Review Services

Religious Support

As religious leaders of the military, chaplains are responsible for tending to the religious and moral well-being of service members and their families. The chaplain's responsibilities include everything from performing religious rites and conducting worship services to providing confidential counseling and advising commanders on religious, spiritual and moral matters. Religious services can be requested through the chaplain’s office at the numbers/email addresses listed below.  Please submit requests as much in advance as possible to ensure availability.
