Atterbury-Muscatatuck Center for Complex Operations (AMCCO)

Established in 2003, AMCCO is the integrating headquarters and business office for the Atterbury-Muscatatuck Complex.

Vision:

  • To provide the nation the most realistic, fiscally responsible, contemporary operating environment possible in which to mobilize and train the whole of government/whole of nation team to accomplish missions directed toward protecting the homeland and winning the peace;

  • provide to that team responsible reach back capability once deployed;

  • and support the conduct of operational testing and evaluation for technologies that support those missions.

AMCCO has been founded on partnerships and utilization of best practices, and employs a network-effect business model. The more customers we have in the network, the lower the costs to each customer. The network-effect operating model offers value to our customers in several ways:

  1. highly realistic training at the best possible price,
  2. a team of equals approach,
  3. and retention of program integrity by the individual agency.

Atterbury – Muscatatuck levels the playing field for all those who respond in times of crisis, and provides readiness at best value.
